Overall comment: Acceptable Chinese food at Subang 2 area. Dishes aren't pricey as well.
Halal: No

I've had this post pending 'release' for quite some time...a month maybe? Haha...so here it goes...
*****
My family was just exploring the shop lots area in Subang 2, when we came across this restaurant. It seems like there are many Chinese restaurants in this area that are somewhat "hidden" since it's not on the main road.

As it's just a simple dinner for 3 persons, we ordered a veg, a beancurd dish, & a fish.

Stir-Fried Sweet Potato Leaves with Garlic (RM8.00)
We felt that this stir-fried vegetable lacks "wok hei". The vegetables feel a bit "dry & raw", like it has just been blanched, then lightly stir-fried with garlic. It certainly lacks aroma & "heat" from the wok.

Hot Plate Beancurd (RM8.00)
It's amazing how "generous" they are with their beancurd! Just because there were 3 of us, they gladly gave us just 6 pieces of beancurd...that's like just 2 pieces per person =.=" The taste of the dish is not too bad, quite aromatic with some salted fish mixed with the minced pork & egg - just that the portion is SO "accurate" that there's no such as thing as "I want more...".

Steamed Red Talapia with Spicy Bean Sauce (RM23.00)
Finally something that is well portioned! This fish ain't too large, so it was just nice for 3 of us. The taste is decent, but I feel that with some pork lard/oil, the sauce would have tasted much nicer! :P

The restaurant
The entire area is quite dark since most shops are closed at night.

It's another option for Chinese food at this area, but it's certainly not the best :) I won't mind coming here again if I'm bored with the other Chinese restaurants around this area.
